With every $3,000 we raise, that’s one more family that we can rehouse. Your support makes it possible for families, seniors, Veterans, and persons with disabilities from our community to return to stable housing, and just in time for the holidays!
The past year and a half has been a challenging one for all of us, but especially for our neighbors
in crisis. Imagine when the CDC suggests you stay “home” to avoid getting sick with COVID but you have no home? Imagine trying to stay healthy and safe when you don’t have enough money for nutritious foods, including fresh produce.
That’s where Good Shepherd has been the safety net for so many of our struggling neighbors
including our seniors, Veterans, persons with disabilities, and families with children. We have been
here and you have stood by us. This holiday season, you can make a gift to SAVE a life with food,
shelter, clothing, medication, and transportation to medical appointments and the VA. You can truly
transform a life with a gift that provides a safe, permanent, and affordable place to call home.
Your support will make a difference, as it stays right here in our community—impacting the lives
of our neighbors, especially those who have struggled even more during the pandemic. Our wish
this holiday season is a hot meal, a warm bed, and a return path to housing for every one of our
neighbors in crisis. Won’t you help with a gift today?
We hope you enjoy these photos—just a few of our neighbors who have benefitted from support
like yours this past year. On their behalf, we thank you for your generosity and wish you and yours a
happy and healthy holiday season.
Sincerely,
Jerry Hurwitz, Chair
Good Shepherd Board of Directors
